Lemonade Cake

Jodies Kitchen Lemonade Cake

This is one of my Favorite Cakes that was a recipe handed down from Mom.
She started making it when we would go to the Lake Cabin and I always requested it every time we went.
It has now become one of our Lake food traditions.
This is a true tasting Lemonade Cake...Meaning if you don't like Lemon you better leave this one alone.
It is sweet and very tangy from the lemonade. We always top it with the Whipped Cream so it balances out nicely. It is very moist and a very refreshing cake.

Jodies Kitchen Lemonade Cake
For the Cake
1 Box lemon cake mix
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
1 box instant lemon pudding (small box)
Mix all together beat well.Pour into a greased bundt pan.Bake at 350f for about 50 minutes or until done.
3/4 cup powdered sugar sifted
1/2 of a 12oz can lemonade concentrate at room temp
Mix together and pour over your bunt cake WHILE STILL IN THE PAN! Let sit several hours before turning your cake out onto a plate. This glaze runs through the cake and is not like a typical glaze on top that you would see.Top this cake with whipped cream.
