Peanut Butter Fudge

Jodies Kitchen Peanut Butter Fudge

This is by far the BEST recipe I have for Peanut Butter Fudge.
This recipe is VERY CREAMY and VERY PEANUT BUTTERY! OH DID I MENTION ITS VERY EASY AS WELL!

I had been making a easy 2 ingredient fudge for a couple years now,but I remembered the good old days of Mom making Peanut butter fudge standing by that stove stirring for hours and how good it was.I really liked the 2 ingredient Peanut butter fudge but I thought it was a little sweeter than what I liked.I find that sweetness with a lot of Peanut Butter Fudge recipes and I just want PEANUT BUTTER FLAVOR!

Peanut butter is the favorite of all fudges for me and my Dad so we do consider ourselves peanut butter fudge experts.LOL.

When I went on a hunt through my recipe book keep in mind this is everything from recipes wrote on pieces of note book paper, recipe cards handed down from family,I even found one written on a brown paper bag for fudge.LOL. I really should organize.I found this one and had a note beside it that said I really love this one its a keeper #1 in my writing .I called Mom and told her the recipe.. she said nope never tried it so I said, well I did sometime in 1992 cause that was the date on it.I have no idea why I haven't been making it and decided this year to give it a whirl again.

So glad I did yes its a #1 fudge. Mom had me help her make a batch yesterday while at her house and she is in Love as well. She is going to surprise Dad with the new recipe because it will make a great treat for that Peanut Butter Fudge expert.Oh and by the way we think the recipe after Mom tried it came from my X Sister in Law

I made one batch and it was so good I immediately made another, there is only 2 pieces left of the first batch and the other is still in the freezer waiting to be taken out the day before Christmas.I have no idea how this recipe freezes so I will update you on that one after I find out.

Jodies Kitchen Peanut Butter Fudge
2 sticks butter (can use salted or not) softened
1 jar 18 oz peanut butter I used creamy
1 16 oz bag powdered sugar

In a heavy bottom pot on the stove melt together butter and peanut butter.Stir together until smooth and well.Take off stove and quickly start adding in small amounts the powdered sugar with a mixer until all is combined well.Spoon out into a 8x8 dish that has been lined with foil or parchment paper.Let sit up in the refrigerator.I did this over night. Then you have the best Peanut butter fudge.Good Luck
