Rosemary Skewers

Jodies Kitchen Rosemary Skewers

Thinking of firing up the Grill for Labor Day?
Well why don't you give this idea a try.
This is Rosemary from my garden. Simply strip the leaves from the rosemary, leaving the top portion if you wish.
This would be for a wow factor for your guest. Then add your meat or veggies just as you would to any other skewer.

I do make sure and pick the thicker stalks for this because they hold up much easier.
Using Rosemary as a skewer will flavor your meat and veggies but not over power them as rosemary can sometimes do if you use to much.

I did have potatoes on these skewers and my tip for this is to cook them just a bit before adding to the skewer so they will cook in the same time as your other veggies and meat.

Another tip which is not done in this pic, but is to make sure that your meat and veggies aren't packed against one another. If they are to close, you will not cook evenly.

If your not grilling this tip can be used in the oven as well.
