Blackberry Cobbler

I LOVE A RECIPE THAT STANDS UP TO THE TEST OF TIME.
Handed down from family to family for many years.
This cobbler for instance is a old favorite for many people.
I guess it being so easy but at the same time so good, makes it a comeback to recipe for many families.
Once you make it, you pretty much always know it, it really is that easy.
The way Mom and I distinguish this cobbler recipe from some of our others is to cal it the cuppa cobbler recipe.Once you read the ingredients you will see why.

This delicious cobbler can be made with other fruits as well, so if blackberries are not your thing by all means try another.

Jodies Kitchen Blackberry Cobbler

2 & 1/2 up to 3 cups black berries
Mix sugar and berries together and let sit 30 minutes.
Batter

1 cup milk
1 stick real butter melted
Mix together flour and sugar, add milk and stir.Add melted butter and mix well. This can be done by hand or mixer.Pour batter into a greased baking dish, I use a 8x8 or 9X9.Then pour sweetened berries with all the juices on top of batter 9DO NOT MIX).
