Cheesy Grits and Bacon

Jodies Kitchen Cheesy Grits & Bacon

Grits for my family is something that we love.We have them often for breakfast and sometimes at lunch or night for a quick dinner.Grits are so versatile and will pretty much take on what ever flavor you want to give them.I am a huge grit fan,as lots of us here in the South are.I think most people who don't like them may be turned off by the texture.I like a nice creamy grit,as you can see by this picture.
I did top mine with chives because I have them growing and the purple flower is a chive bloom. It is also edible.I really like the garnish of chives, it goes well with bacon in my opinion. If you dont have any don't worry. This recipe is all about Creamy Grits & Bacon.
