Cinnamon Dots

Jodies Kitchen Cinnamon Dots

My Cinnamon Dots are as delicious as they look.
I have been eating these since I was a small child, and cooking them myself for as long as I can remember.
This isn't a new fabulous recipes, but a old fabulous recipe that is one of my Families favorites, and many of you have had them yourself I'm sure.
They are so easy and fast to make, and are perfect for breakfast or dessert.

And my favorite thing with a cup of coffee.

Get your kids involved with this recipe. As you can see I have split up canned  biscuits and am rolling them in cinnamon sugar. The balls don't have to be perfectly shaped and my little boy loves helping out with this part.

Jodies Kitchen Cinnamon Dots.
1 can 12 oz biscuits..I use Grands
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar..light or dark
3 tablespoon butter melted, may use margarine
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1 to 2 tbs milk..I used 2 for the consistency of the glaze I like.
Whisk together well.Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9 inch glass pie plate or you may use a baking dish of your choice.
Cut or tear each biscuit into 4 and make into balls.Roll balls into cinnamon sugar mix and then place in your baking dish.Drizzle melted butter over each one.You may use any remanding cinnamon sugar to sprinkle on top if you wish..I do. Bake 25 minutes or until dough is done.Drizzle with Glaze while still warm.Eat up..Good luck.
