Jodies Mixed Berry Cobbler |
This recipe is so warm and comforting.It really is something that I can whip up so easily with any fruit.My Mom always made this when I was a kid and now my family loves it just as well.
Jodies Kitchen Mixed Berry Cobbler
1 pound of Mixed berries (Total)
(strawberries,blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)May use 16 0z frozen Fruit
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup half and half (may use milk)
1 stick melted butter
2 tbs. Agave in the raw ( May use sugar)- This is for sweetening your fruit if needed. So you may adjust this.
pinch of salt
Mix berries with agave and salt stir and let sit.In another bowl mix together flour sugar half and half,and butter.Blend well.Pour into your baking dish then pour fruit on top.Bake at 425 for 20 to 25 minutes.Eat while this is still burning your mouth up.
Note: The consistency of this will be like a bread pudding after it sits a while.
