Jodies Kitchen Confetti Baked Beans
This is one of those Dash of this and Pinch of that recipes
1 can pork and beans
1 cup total- Diced onions, green and red peppers.I used the ones that are in a bag frozen for this pic,but when you have fresh you may use those.
Couple dashes of Hot sauce
Brown sugar - to make as sweet as you want
Mustard- only about 1/2 teaspoon
Ketchup - about 1 teaspoon
salt and pepper to taste
4 slices bacon to put on top before Baking..This pic was taken before it was topped with the bacon.
I bake in about 425 oven uncovered just until hot and bubbly and the Bacon is cooked.Bacon is always optional. But not for me its a must Good Luck.
NOTE: I also make this and add smoked sausage or Kielbasa cut int bite size pieces for a 1 dish meal.
