Pizza with Homemade Crust

Jodies Kitchen Loaded Homemade Pizza

How do you like your Pizza thin or thick?
I have to say I go for the thin crust most of the time. However I have never met a thick slice I would turn my nose up at either.

I make my own crust then I have a choice as to how thick I make it.The photo at the top shows a pizza I made one night for the family and is loaded with fresh veggies, meat and cheese.Great time to make pizzas with all the garden goodness available this time of year.

You can choose to make your own sauce with this recipe or your favorite store bought one. When making this pizza with all the toppings,I did bake my crust a bit before adding the toppings. This crust should not be soggy if you follow directions. This is a Good thin crust that holds all these goodies. One side has Mushrooms for me:)

Jodies Kitchen Homemade Pepperoni with fresh Mozzarella

I think the 3 most important things about a pizza is the crust sauce and cheese. Now I do use the bag cheese sometimes as in the top pick, but the one above is a pepperoni with fresh Mozzarella.
The difference is all in the taste!

If you eat a piece of each you will definitely be able to tell the difference. The dough I make for my pizza is a recipe from a very old set of Good Housekeeping Cookbooks that was handed down to me.I have been very happy with it and find it's pretty easy.

If you think this looks good wait till you see my CHEESE STICKS

  1. I like my pizza crust thin also. This looks good! Never really had luck with working with yeast, but maybe I can get it to work.
